Tim Ellis
Director of Track & Field
Tim joined staff with Athletes in Action in the fall of 1997 and serves as the Director of Track & Field.
Originally from Indianapolis, Tim worked as a physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer for over a decade prior to joining AIA staff full-time. While attending Purdue University, he competed on the cross country and track teams. He has coached high school track for 21 years in South Carolina, Michigan and Ohio.
Tim graduated from Purdue University in 1983 with a degree in Industrial Management. He then attended physical therapy school at the Medical University of South Carolina graduating in 1986. His athletic training education came from the University of Arkansas, Hope College, and from Huston Sports Medicine Hospital. He is married to Sue, who also serves in the T&F Department with AIA. They have two children, Jackie and Gabe.
Tim Coleman
International Project Director & Recruiting Coordinator
Tim joined staff with Athletes in Action in 2001 and works with the internatioal projects and recruiting process.
Originally from McArthur, OH, Tim coaches cross-country and leads a student ministry at Waynesville Middle School and Waynesville High School. He and his wife, Shari, have two daughters, Meredith and Alison, and reside in Waynesville, OH.
Tim is a 1988 graduate of Greenville College in Greenville, IL with a degree in Music Education. While at Greenville College, he competed on the cross-country and track & field teams.
Jodi Tarasewicz
Projects Coordinator & Elite Athlete Coordinator
Jodi joined staff with Athletes in Action in 2009 and has added diversity to the distance running, male dominated Track & Field Department.
Originally from Minnesota, Jodi competed as a pole vaulter for St. Cloud State Universtiy. While at SCSU, she obtained her BA in Sports Management and MS in College Counseling and Student Development. After college, she moved to Alabama to work in Athletic Academics at the University of Alabama for 2 1/2 years.
Jodi works with coordinating summer projects and also works with Central State University in Wilberforce, OH, working with the campus ministry and serving as a volunteer coach for the track & field teams.
